GIRL GUIDES FORM GUARD OF HONOUR FOR BRIDE

WILSON— UNWIN The marriage was solemnised on Wednesday at Christ's Ghurch, Frasertown, of Rona Maude, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. H. Unwin, "Rocky Nook," Frasertown, and David George, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Wilson, Waitahora. The Rev. C. E. Hyde performed the ceremony, and the wedding music was played by Mrs. A. Grindley, Napier. The bride wore a frock of soft pearl satin, with a slight train. Her embroidered veil, forming a long train, was held in place by a coronet of orango blossom. She carried a bouquet of azalea, magnolia stellata, and maidenhair fern, with streamers of silver. The bridesmaid, Miss Joyce Unwin, sister of the bride, wore an ensemble consisting of a puffed-sleeved fulllength coat of stiffened net over a slim-fitting frock of pale pink satin and a large picture hat. She carried a basket of soux de leonie vienot roses and maidenhair fern. The two little flower girls, Shirley Unwin and Helen Birrell, were frocked alike in blue stiffened net over blue satin worn with silver shoes. They had bandeaux of rosebuds and forget-me-nots in their hair, and carried Victorian posies of the same flowers. Mr. Ken Wilson was best man and Messrs. N. Munro and N. O'Malley assisted as ushers. The church had been decorated by friends of the bride and the Girl Guides, of whom the bride was captain, formed a guard of honour outside the church. - • Mr. and Mrs. Unwin entertained their guests to afternoon tea in the Frasertown Hall, which had been'turned into' a bower of flowers by Miss McCrae, a cousin of the bridegroom. Miss Unwin wore a dark green crepe marocain frock, relieved in light green, J and wore' a black hat. She carried a ■ bouquet of cherry coloured tulips. Mrs. | Wilson Wore a navy blue ensemble and a blue hat and carried a bouquet in autumn tints. The guests nfterwards adjourned to "Rocky Nook" to view the array of presents, including several cheques, which testified to the popularity of the young people, j The bride 's travelling suit was ^ a very smart grey costume worn with navy hat, shoes and bag to tone.
