MISS BALLANTYNE'S DANCE IN NAPIER
A delightful "long nlght" dance, the flnal one of the season, was given at the. Silver Slippet Cabaret in Napier last eyening by .Miss Jean Ballantyne for pupils of lu-i ombined classes. Miss Betty Cooper 's oichestra supplied the melodious dance music, and every'one present spent a very happy ingMiss Ballantyne was weanng a lovely frock of blackberry shot taff-et.a, with a wide sash of burgundy velvet and a large spray of mixed flowers fLuished the low-cut back. Miss Fay Hall assisted Miss Ballantyne, and her frock was of fuehsia French crepe prettily trimmed with friJls, Miss Rona Eenouf, who also assisted, ' wore a frock of gold satin, the long Isash being lined with red, and a spray of ""poppies floished the corsage,
