DUNEDIN, Last Night. Tlie accused liad the misfortune to commit ihe crime under the eyes of a deteetive, stated the Orown Prosecntor in the Supreme Oourt when Herbert Readman, aged 20, appeared for sentence on a charge of breaking aud entering a house with criminal intent. The prisoner, whose offence was committed when on probatioiiary release from Borstal, was reeommitted to the iustitution for two years.
