Th0 delighti'ul Louise Fazenda bas an eccentric role well fitted to ber talents as a comedienne and torcb singer, Winifred Shaw is cast as a Britisb musical comedy star. Otlier notables in tbo cast are Allen Jenkins, (Jarol Hughet, Hugb O'Connell, Teddy Hart, Addison Eicbards, Eoss Alexander, Sbaw and Lee, tbe "piano-mov-ers" from vaudeville, E. E. Clive and Jane Wyman. Sometbing altogetber new in tbe way of a "number" is a typewriter 30 feet high, on tbe keys of wbicb dancing girls spell out a loveietter dictated to them by Alexander. Tbe story part of the picture was guided by Eay Enrigbt. "Eeady, Willing and Able" is said to bave a much xnore substantial and coberent story tban most musical films have. It was adapted for tbe screen by Jerry Wald, Sig Her* zig and Warren Duff, and is one of tbe Warner 's most pretentious offerings for 1937.
