Later in bis club Paderewski tells the story of tbeir romance, bow it was.nearly broken and bow bis music brought them together again. Eric is steward on thJ remote, picturesque Svedish estate of tbe Baroness Linden borg, who encourages his affections for ber beautiful granddaugbter, Ingrid. A plane makes a forced landing on tbe estate, bringing witb it Paderewski, bis secretary, nud an elegant young man, Mario. Mario completely fascinates Ingrid, and' persuades ber to elope witb him. But at thef" eleventb bour Mario is unmasked and Iugrid bitterly realises what a fool sbo has been. Sbe is too ashamed to confront Eric, but tbe magic of Beet* hoven's "Moonlight Sonata," as played by Padereswki sbows tbe way to love. Cbarles Farrell and Marie Tempest bave important roles in tbe picture. Also on tbe programme is tbe Marcb of Timo (No. 7) and a Walt Disney all-colour classic.
