FREDDIE BARTHOLOMEW IN "THE DEVIL IS A SISSY." Young Freddie Bartholomcw apparoutly excels in any rolo that comes his way. The boy who gave us such vivid portrayals in "David Copperlleld" and "Little Lord Fauntleroy" now appeare as a modern street urchin in "The Devil is a Sissy," one of the most stirring, gripping and entertaining dramas of modern youth that the screen has ever produced, which comes to the Waipukurau Theatre to-night at 8. In this Metro-Goldwyn picture of contemporary boyhood in the 'great cities, Freddie co-stars with Jaekie Cooper and Miekey Rooney. lan Hunter and Peggy Conklin provide the romantic interest in a touehing love story that enters into the adventurous narrative of the bovs. On the same programme will be shown the lhird Test match, Springboks v.
