WAIPAWA REGENT
"LLOYDS OF LONDON" TO-NIGHT AND MONDAY. Tall ships and lofty sails, charming ladies and gallant dandies of an earlier time; now and then the dull boom of cannon and tho rattlo of musketx'y! There is an electric impression of something "really big" in the air, which, in Hollyvood, where such words as "stupendous" and "eolossal" have long since lost tkeir meaning, is tbe inlangibie but potent evidence by which those "iu the know" concerning cinema activities can tell that a picture far beyond unusual proportions is in the making. The scene is one of the inany sets at tbe Twentieth Century-Pox studio, where 1 ' Lloyds of London ' ' is being filmed. There is evidence that the studio has extended itself for this picture. For a cast, there are Freddie Bartbolomew, Madeleine Carroll, Sir Guy Standing, handsome Tyrone Power, C. Aubrey Smith and Virginia Field, to mention but a fow of the more thaii lifty stcllar and featured players. "Lloyds of London" will be screened at the Waipawa Regent to-night and again on Monday. Already the booking is heavy, and patrons would be well advised to make their reservationa at MacGregor's.
