Burgess and Miss Mario Clothier to tho guesb of houour. During the afternoon fruit salad and a sumptuous,; afternoon tea wero served. Elocutionary ifeems were given by Misses V. and M. Clothier. A competition "Who are the authorsp77 was won by Mrs. H. J. Hull. Tbo bride-to-be, assisted by Miss E. Wright, who is to be bridesmaid, openeil a bulging clothes basket of beautiful and most useful presents. In a neat speeeh, Miss HolJand very graciousJy tbanked the hostesses and aJl thosopresenfc. The guest of honour looked very smart in a navy blne costuine with beigo lace blouso. Mrs. F, O. Clothier received her guests in a becomiijg gown of light navy with gold tunic.
