Harrison, of Waipukurau, to Leslie, youngest son of Mr G. P. Gooday and Ihe late-Mrs Gooday, StGeorge's road, Hastings. The brido mad© a charming picture in ker empiro gown of ivory emboasod cloque.. The skirt, tight-fittiug to the kuees, fell in soft folds to tho ground. The folded corsage was cut with a V neck, bound with silrer lame, and finished with a big silver rose. The back was ineet with silver lame with a row of tiny buttons on each side. The sJeeves tucked into the armholes were tight iitting to the wrists. Her beautiful ivory tulle veil (loancd by a friend), embroidered in eaeh corner with big silver butterfles, was arranged with a halo of orange buds and lilies and fell to the hem qf the skirt in soft folds. She wore white kid shoes andcarned an exqnisite bouquet of pale pink carnations, freesias, sweet peas and stocks, to which was attacheil a silver horseshoe, The bridesmaid, Miss Gwladys Major, was wearing a graeeful gown of floral crepe georgette in shades of primrose apricot with a tonch of green, simply fashioned with a high neckline, tlie narrow rolled collar finishing in points at the back. Tlie sleeves, full on tho slioulders, were tight fitting to Ihe wrists, and the waist was defined witli a gold metal beit having a big golci buekle. She wore a halo of velvel petals to tone with her frock aiid gold shoes, and carried a bouquet of camolias, carnations, and bronze flowers tied with bronze tulle. Mr Guy Gooday, Hawera, attended his brother as best man. Tlie Ef,. S. Heen officiated at the ceromony aud Miss Mavis King was at the organ, the hymns, "The Yoice that Breathed o'er Eden,".and "O Perfect Love,77 being ■ sung during the service. Thn bridc and bridegroom knelt on a white satin cushion worked in bluo As the bride left the chureli her smalj brother presented her with a silver horseshoo. A reception was held at which a number of guests were rcceived by Mr and Mrs Harrison, the bride 7s parents. The bride 7s table, above which was suspended a pink wedding bell, crossed two other tables, all festively decoratod with spring biossoms. Mrs J. H. Harrison was wearing a smart navy and white flgured crepe-de-chin© frock under a navy marooain eoat with a navy and white straw hat, and her bouquet was composed of scarlet anemones. Miss P. Harrison (sister of the bridel was wearing saxe blue crepe-de-chino with a beige straw hat. Miss S. Harrison (another; slsterl chose floral marocain, with a picture hat of scarlet rough straw Miss D, Harrison (sister) Wore pale pink flgured silk linen with a matehing hat.
Mrs Major, deep blue angora delaine flgured in white and green, worn with a navy and white hat. Mrs H. Qlliver (Wellington), brown frock having a gold belt and brown and erdam handkerchief scarf and brown hat. WFheh the brido and bridegroom left by car for their honeymoon in the north, the bride was wearmg a suit of nut-.brown scarlet and beige check summer tweed, buttoned at the neck with big red buttons, a wide red belt and a scarlet wallias liat. She wore a handaome stone marton fnr, which was tho gift of the bridegroom.
