They state that they are snrvivors of a fishing fleet manned by 300 men Which a Japanese submarine attaeked of£ Cheeiongkau ^oint on Septefaber 22, from a distance of 20Q yards, mercilessly sinkiug the jnnks ifi rotation, and leaving the wounded and dying nelplessly struggling in the water.
