FRIENDS FROM FAR AFIELD AT NAPIER WEDDING
REID— McDONALD St. Paul's Church, Napier, was deeorated with blossoms and foliage for the wedding of Lyla Joan, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs A. McDonald. of Meeanee, and Leslie Andrew, onlyi son of Mrs and the late Mr A. Rcid, of Napier. The Rev. Mr Kedgley officiated at tho ceremony an.d Mr Pacey presided at tho organ. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a lovely gown of windswept satin, the skirt forming a long pleated train. Her tulle veil fell from a pleated satin halo and she carried a sliower bouquet of white and shell-pink flowers. ' Miss Rona Fisher attended the bride, and wore a long fltting frock of silver laine with large puft'ed eleevcs. She wore a silver, halo and carried a bouquet of anemones and pansies. The littlc flower girl was Ra'e Kelly, of Wellington, who wore a frock of whito satin similar to the bride 's and carried a bouquet Of mauve pansies aud violets. A silver horseshoe Yvas " presented lo the bride at the church by two tiny gi.'is, Fay McDonald and CarinO Ja'ekson. ' Mr.' Lo3. Johnsoli, of Wellington, carried out the (luties of betsfc man. .
