LODGE SOCIAL EVENING HELD AT PORANGAHAU
Members of tho Porangahau Oddfellows' Lodge held a successful social evening in the public hall when visitors from the surrounding districts were present. Vocal items were rendered by Mr P. Lisette and Mr Sayliss. The Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr and Mrs 11. Ropiha ; the Monte Carlo one-step by Miss Green and her partner; the spot waltz by Miss Gleeson and partner; and the waltz competition by Miss Douglas and Mr Btringer. Mnsic " for the danc.es was supplied by Mrs. ltenata, Mrs Turi, and Mr Neill. JMr Thomas and Mr Healey aeted as M.C.'s. Ainong thoso present wero Mr aud Mrs HuLana, Mr and Mrs Thomas, Mr and Mrs Wakelin, Mr and Mrs II. Ropiha, Mr and Mrs Black, Mr and Mrs , Douglas.
