LOVELY GARDENS SEEN BY VISITING GOLFERS
The members" of the' visiting Australia'n Ladies' Golf team, tlie Misses LV Wray (captain), E. M. Hutton, B. Kernot, B. Tolhurst, B. Cherry and Mrs. Sloan Morpeth, who are at present staymg in Napier were deligktfuIJy entertained on Sunday with motor drives and visits to two of the loveliest gardens in the districb. The president of the Napier Ladies' Golf Club, Mrs. Hector Smith, and the captain, Mrs. F. N. Fussell, drove the visitors to Chesterhope, Pakowhai, the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. Fernie, where the lovely gardens were seen at their best on such a beautifully fine day. A very pleasant morning was thoroughly enjoyed and in the afternoon Mrs F. N. Fussell motored* the visitors to Okawa the home of Mr and Mrs. T. H. Lowry, where the gardens were also^ much admired.
