WARRANT FOR ARREST

Missing White Russian General (Received 27 8.45 a.m.) PARIS, Sept. 26. A warrant has been issued for Skobline, the White Russian general. Madame Skobline has been arrested. A cable from Paris dated September 23 stated: General Miller, head of the White Russian ex-servicemen and suecessor to General Koutepoff, who mysteriously disappeared in 1931, is missing from his home in a Paris suburb. General Miller's colleague, General Skobline 1 also disappeared. General Miller left a note saying : "I have a rendezvous with General Skobline to meet a German military attache. General Skobline arranged the meeting, which is perhaps a trap. Therefore 1 leave this note." General Skobline, before his disappearance, said he knew nothing of the rendezvous. The possibility that General Miller was kidnapped and smuggled on board a Soviet ship g/oing to Leningrad was was given prominence after the information had been received. Surete Nationale inspectors weut to Le Havre to search the Russian steamer Maryo UlyanoVa, General Skobline' s wife was also missing, but she re-appeared a few days which left suddenly for Leningrad, later and made a statement to the police.
