The United States Secretary of State, Mr Cordell HuM, announeed that he had made a new and moro vigorous protest to Japan regarding tho bombing of Nanking. He described the protest as being more formal and setting out further and more elaborate details emphasising the United States' stand against the bombing of the non "ombatant population.
