ANNULMEMT REFUSED
Film Actor's Mexican Marriage (Eeceived 15, 8.45 a.m.) LOS ANGELE8, Sept. 13. The Court refused the film actor's George Brent's suit for the annulment of his marriage in Mexico with the Australian actress Jocelyn Howarth. The Conrt adjudged the marriage as valld, because plaintiff adroitted that he suggested the ceremony should be performed at Tijuana and also asserted that such a marriage was good and effective. Brent's attorney said he would probably appeal. Miss Howarth 's mother said that her daughter had made no plans to seek a divorce. Neither of the parties mdcle any comuient. lt is announced that Mrs Eicardo Cortez is suing for a divorco on tho grpunds of incompatability.
