MRS. R. J. HAMILTON

The death occurred last week or Mrs Annie Hamilton, of Victoria Avenue, Bemuera. Mrs Hamilton' was*"'well•known in croquet circles — throughout New Zealand. She was at' the time of her decease a vice-president of the New Zealand Croquet Club, having held the latter. position for tho past 13 years. She -was also a member of the executive of the Auckland Croquet Council. For two years she was a vice-president of, the Auckland Croquet Association. Apart from her connection with croquet, Mrs Hamilton is well known tliroughont thc country. During the war ihe was an active worker in. raising funds for the Red Cross, partjcularly in Paeroa, where she was living at the time. She was a graduate of tho Auckland University Colloge, Mrs Hamilton is suTvived by her husband, Mr lt. J. Hamilton.
