MR. A. K. VIGERS

The death occurred at the Dannevirke Hospital on Monday §f Mr Alfratl Kenneth Vigers, an old resident of Ormondville, in. liis 84th year. The lato Mr Vigers was the fourth son of the late Mr ChaTles Kenneth Vigers, one of the early Canterbury pioneers. He was born at Riccarton in 1854. His childhoqd and early manhood were spent in the South Island, and lio came to tbo North Island about 45 years ago, living for over 30 years in Ormondville. Aftcr his wife5s death 11 years ago Mr Vigers left Ormondville to reshle with his only daugliter, Mrs C. B. Weeninlc. who was at that time living in the King Country and who later ^ moved to Takapau.
