KITCHEN EVENING HELD AT WAIPAOA
A most delightfid kitchen evening organised by the friends of Miss Mil>dred Hopkins, whose wedding takes place shortly, was held in St. Peter's Schoolroom, Waipawa. The time was spent in dancing, Mr N. MacPherson offieiating as M.C., and the music being provided by Mrs Meta. After supper liad been served the farge assortment of parcels was opened by Miss Hopkins, assisted by Miss J. McQuilkan and Miss Roma King, dis- ' closiug an imposing array of useful articles. On behalf of the guest of honour, Mr G. Harvey rctruned thanks for kind thouglits whicli liad prompted the orgamsers to arran-ge such a liappy little gatheriug.
