CHILDREN'S FANCY-DRESS DANCE AT WAIPUKURAU

A children 's fancy-dress dance, arranged by Mesdames J. Huntly-Walker, P. Hewitt, E.C. Hurdsiield, A. O. Williams, P. Sniyrk, J. Windle, T. Staines, J. Ralph and Miss G. Beachen in aid of the spring ,bulb show, was held in St. Mary's Hall, Waipukurau. The hall was attractively arranged with coloured streamers and branches of spring blossoms. The stage lookod cosy with easy chairs and was brigbtened with bowJs of golden daffodils. Most of tho children were in fancy costume and .spent a kappy evening dancmg to music played by Mrs Lovett. At 10 o'clock the smaller children sat down to supper.and tho older children took the floor.
