PLEASANT GIFT EVENING FOR A BRIDE-TO-BE
« A gift eveniug organised by Mrs Major and lielpers in honour of Miss E. Harrison, whose marriage to Mr L. Gooday takes place at tho end of the month, was held in the Methodist Ohurch, "Waipulvurau, on Friday, when a pleasant evening was spent by a iarge number of friends with games and competitions arranged by Mr F. Climo. During the evening Miss Guitha Pendray, on behalf of tlio Sunday Seliool scholars, presented Miss Harrison with a pieture and Mr Mooday with a cup and saueer. The Rev. S. Keen, of Waipawa, spoke in eulogistic terms of Miss Harrison 's devotion to ehureh work and wished her and her future husband much happiness. Miss Harrison, suitably xesponded to the Sunday School seliolars and Mr Gooday to Rev. Keen and friends.
