FIRE IN SHED
* v The Hastings Fire Brigade received a call shortly al'ter 2 o'clock this afternoon to an outbreak of lire in a concrete shed situated iu the middle of a paddock in Avenue road east adjoining Kensington House. A quantity of skavings was stored in the shed and it was tliese wliich had caugkt aliglit. Tbe brigade was liampered to a sinaJl extent by smoke, but tbe outbreak was extinguished in less than a quarter of an hour. Little damuge w^s done.
