Mrs F. J. Coomba and family, Norsewood, have returued from a fortnight's holiday at Havelock Nortk. Miss D. Aldridge, of the Central Hawke's Ba.v Power Board, who has been spendiug ker anuual leave in Taihape, returued to Waipukurau yesterday. Miss Mary Wall lias returued to UaLuma from a holiday with friends in (. christchurch. Mr and Mrs P. Bmalley, and Miss Zeta Smalley liave returned to Ormondville ai'ter a. fortnigtht's holiday in Nelson. 1 , Miss L. Campbell, Wellington, has commenced her duties at the Ormondville school. Mrs A. Schmidt, a very old resident of Makotuku is seriously ill and her condition is causing her relatives much anxiety. Mr and Mrs B. Sinclair, of Hastings, who have been on a visit to friends in Makotuku liavp returned to their honie. Mr 11 Iggulden aud Mr Anlon Svensen, oi Norsewood, inmntes of the Dnnnevirke Public Hospital, are reported to he progiWsing favourably.
