WAIPUKURAU, Last Night. The September meeting of the neutral Hawke's Bay braneh of the Women 's Division of the Farmers' Union was held in the Women 's Rest Jtoom, Waipukurau, this afternoon. Mr? T. Groome prcsided, the following members being present: Mesdames G. L. J'amieson, E. * Cole, A. D. Wallacc, G. Pattison, H. P. HoJe, J. W. Harding, G. F. Kennedy, A. Edgar, P. F. Wall, T. Blaek, T. Geenty, F. Hewitt, J. C. WiJJiams, Misscs G. Boachen, kr. Main, N. Williams and tlie secretaiy, Miss E. Grant. Apologios wero tendered ■f'roin Alosdames F. Wilson, C. Giblin, J. A. Grant, M. Tansey and J- C. Nifliolls. On the motion of Mrs A. D. Wallaco it was decided lo hold the annu^l shop day on October 16. Final arrangements were ma'do for th« October monthly meeting, which is to take the form of a social afternoon. Parcels of books for the Book niub at Te Kuiti were received from Mesdames T. Groome, P. F. Wall, J. W. Harding and Aliss Main. The socretary intimated that as the next monthly meeting would lie book day, she would be grateful for books. Miss G. Beaehen gavo an interesting resumo of the quarterly meeting of the Northern Hawke's Bay Counril meeting whicii was held in Hastings recently.
