Managsr's Trip Abroad visit to eur0pe & america

WELLINGTON, Last Night. To arouse interest. in the Centconial Exhibitiou, the company to-day dccided that the general manager, Mr C. P. Tlainsworth, should leave for England, via Canada and the UrJted States, in January. Besides visiting these countries it is Mr Hainsworth 's intention to visit tho principal centres 'in England, Scotland and on the Continent, aud, 011 his returu, Australia. Mr Hainsworth said that, with regard to India aud Ceylon, displays from those countries could bcst be arranged in London. lle hoped to bc able to make those arrangonicnls when there. Primarily his visit to • the various couutrics is to arrange with the respeetive Governments for oliieial displays at tlie exhibition. Ineidentally ho will make it his business to meet and address gatheyings of manufacturers in the various centres. He will visit places of amusement in order to ascnrtain the latcst and most popular devices for the entertainment of the public and lo mahe suck arvangemcnts as qiay be possible for the installation of attractions, either by the exhibition Huthorities themselves, or by persons interested 111 the anuisement business. Mr Hainsworth liopcs to be present at the Opening of the exhibition at Glasgow, where he will endeavour to secure much that may be of value lo the Novv Zealand exhibition. If tho Paris exposition reopeus next year. he will make a point of sceihg it in order to g.'iin the very latest ideas.
