Concert Abandoned.
The heavy rain yesterday preventcd the holding of the open-air eoncert which wias to have been given by the Hastings Citizens' Band at Cornwall Fark. One-fifth oi' the total population of Britain is now gathered inside tlie Grcater London area, wliich to-day holds 8,500,000 people.
