St. Mary's Children Perform

WAIPUKURAU, Last Night. Following the annual Sunday Sohool tea at St. Mary's Hall, Waipukurau, last evening, a very enjoyable concert organised by Mrs C. W. Browne in aid of funds for the bran-tub at the forthcoming bulb show was presented to an appreciative audience : — • The programme was as follows: — "Dulcie and the Moa," Bmnie Raymond; "Kiwi," Judy Agar; "Tapu,'' Gypsy Browne] "Podgy Wodgy" Jean and Barbara Tinney ; "Waiata Poi," Peggy Malkin; "In a Canoe," Joan StaiDes and chorus ; recitation, "Andy Always Knows," Shona Bell ; sketch, "The Bald-Headed Man," by Gypsy Browne t Binnie Raymond and Wendy Browne; pianoforte solo, "Nocturne Op. 31 No. 1'' (Ohopin), Pat Parsons; Russian Dance Judy , Agar; "What-Nots," "Time to Rise" Jean Tinney ; "The Cam," Barbara Tinney; "Timbucktoo," Sheila Walker; "Esan," Gypsy Browne; "A Fly and a Flea in a Flue," Joan Staines ; "The Collie Dog," Binnie Raymond; a short play entitled "School for Choice," written and produced by Gypsy Browne was presented by the following: Judy Agar, Gypsy Browne, Binnie Raymond, Margaret Moore, Peggy ^alker. Joan Staines, Jean and Barbara Tinney t Sheila Walker. Additional items were: "Home, Little Maori Home," Peggy Walker; pianoforte solo, "Loin der Tays" (Sergent), Pat Parsons ; "Yen How," Gypsy Browne, Binnie Raymond, Shona Bell, Max-garet Moore, Judy Agar, Peggy Malkin; "South American Joe," Wendy Browne; "Uncle Joe and His Old Banjo," by the company. At the conclxision a bouquet was presented to Mrs Browne.
