"Woman's place is in the houie " and "Sliould Ongaonga have trams?" Several mentbers spoke convincingly on the two first subjects while the last oue called focth some humorous suggestions. A play-reading was greatly appreciated. Those talcing part in the comedy, "Five Characters in Search of a Change," were Mesdames Carr and Diamond, Misses Dalton and Ruston and Messrs E. Bibby, P. Hansen and O. Masters. The isubject of debate for next meeting is, JIs the influence of the Press beneficial? "
