"PLAYBOY" IN COURT

World Cruise Unlikely To Eventuate LONDON, Aug. 26. Oue of the six "'Mayfair playboys'* who plan to make a world cruise in a 50ft. yawl, Dick Beaumont, called in at Southampton to-day to buy _ the yawl's provisions. He was detained by the police and brought to London in connection with a cheque transaction. Beaumont was charged in the Bow Street Police Court with passing a worthless cheque in a West End hotel. The prosecutor said that a more serious charge was pending. Bail was not granted. Beaumont 's solicitor said that the trip was not likelyto eventuate.
