Youth's Head Caught in Machinery

AUCKLAND, Last Night. To have his right ear torn oif when his head was caught in some machinery was the experience of an engineer 's apprentice employed at the foundry of Messrs Mason and Porter, Ltd., in Parnell. The ear was stitched on at the hospital and the youth's condition tonight was not regarded as serious. The injured youth was Geoffrey Marten Douglas, aged 19, of Morningside.
