WAIPAWA REGENT THEATRE

"RAMONA" IN TECHNICOLOUR TO-MORROW In the presentation of "Ramoana," showing at the Waipawa Regent on Wednesday night, 20th Century-Fox has added another great triumph to its already imposing roster of cinema successes. Flashing action on a far-flung scale combined with its production in the new perfected Technicolour, make "Ramona" one of the most important pictures of the year, an ezciting picturisation of Helen Hunb Jackson's imI mortal love story. Loretta Young is featured as Ramona, with Bon Ameche as Alessandro, and the splendid supporbing casfc includes such players as Kent Taylor, Paulino Frederick, Jane Barwell, Katheriue Be Mille and John Carradine. "Ramona" is a picture that fairly teems with higli romance — fiestas, fandangoes, songs, roses, secret trysts, mission bells, stolen kisses, tears, love and laughter.
