Men's Hockey Teani ' for Napier

WAIROA, Last Night. The following will comprise the Wairoa men's hockey team to play Napier on Saturday in a ropresentative rr.atch; B. Carrington, J. King, M. Edwards, H. Smith, H. Timu, R. Bauld, _ H. Prior, H. Awarangi, I. Awarangi, J. Duley, J. Tahy, B. Lawton and G. Simpsont St. Andrew's church. The Congregational meeting of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church will be held on Wednesday night. The annual reports show increased vigor in all departments, and liigh tributes are paid to all church workers and officers. Personal. Miss R. Perry, of the staff of tho Hawke's. Bay Farmers' Co-op. Association, Wairoa, returned to-day from a holiday spent in Auckland. Mr and Mrs B. Halpin are on a visit to Hastings. Miss Harvey, matron of the Wairoa Hospital, spent the week-end in Gisborne. Miss L. Hodgson, of the Training College, Christchurch, is spending the vacation in Wairoa. Mrs H. Moles, of Gisborne, was a week-end visitor to Wairoa. Misses Scragg, D. and V. Johansen, Wairoa, are paying a holiday visit to their grand parents, Mr and Mrs Stanley, of Te Karaka. Mrs R. J. C. Richardson, of Te Reinga, gained her A.T.C.L. diploma at the recent musical esaminations. Miss Cecily Green, of the Dental Training Clinic, Wellington, is visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs E. J. Green.
