"The Monkey's Paw,'3 an intcnselydramatic play by W. W. Jacobs, was rtad at the monthly meeting of the Greenmeadows Women 's Institute, hellfl at the home of Mrs Wright. Those taking part in the play-reading were Mesdames Armstrong, Goodall, Scullah, McAulay and Kane. A eompetition based on a quotation from Shakespeare was wbn. 'by MtS. Gopdall. Afternoon tea was served by the piastess, lafter whiehi (Mrs Soofct read passages from "The Life of Shakespeare. 3 ' A vote of thanks was passed to Mrs. Wright, before members went into the garden to see the spring fiowers. \
