TUTIRA REVERTS TO CROWN
Scheme of Subdivision Tutira^ station, one of the best-known hoidings in Hawke's Bay, is to revert to the Crown, a lease held for approximately 50 years by Mr H. Guthrie Smitli, having expired. It is probable that subdivision of the property, together with the 5000-acro Tataraoterauliine block adjoining, will be completed in time to allow the sections defiued to be oifered for selection towards the end of this year. As the country affected is astride a rocky range, the task of subdividing it is proving diffcult. It is proposed that tiVe of six sections, averaging in the vicnity of 1500 acres, should be offererl for selection. The total area of tbe Tutira and Tataraoterauhine blocks is about 9000 acres.
