— Pre«« Aaeociation.)

Use of One at Hospital Refused

(By Telegraph

WAIHI, This Day. Attention to the fact that for the second time the use of the morgue at the Waihi Hospital had been refused by the medical superintendent to doctor acting under instructions from the coroner to hold a post-mortem examination was drawn by a councillor at a meeting of the Waihi Borough Council. He said he thought it scandalous that there should be a mortuary there and that the coroner was obliged to have examinations held in the back premises of some hotel in the town. He proposed that the facts of the case be placed before the Minister of Health and Justice.
