OFFICIAL ROME OPINION
Confident That Madrid Will Soon Fall (Received 27, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, July 2'6. The Daily Telegi-aph's Rome correspondent says that General Franco 's preparation for, the final attack on Madrid is considered more important than non-intervention. Official circles are confident that Madrid will soon fall, and that the Franch and British Governipente will have to rccognise General Franco as head of Spain. Even those pessimistic of General Franco 's immediate victory have no doubt of the ultimate outcome: they therefore argue that it is ma/dness to agree to the withdrawal of volunteera.
