JOLLY EVENING ENJOYED BY GUILD MUSIC CIRCLE

The meeting of members of the music circle of the Hastings Townswomen's Guild, which was held in the G.F.S. room 011 Thursday evening, was very bright and jolly, and a good number of members was present in spite of numerous other attractions. Tlie leader of the circle, Miss B. McHutchon, was in the cbair, and after the brief business had been disposed of a bright programme was contirbuted by the circle members. Vocal solos were given by Mrs Corrigan, Mrs Hill and Mrs Bail, and Mrs F. S. Budd gave two piano items.. These items were interspersed with jolly musical games and competitions. In one of the latter each member kad to write a telegram composed of song titles, and later the members divided into groups and each made up a song to a well-known air. Mrs G- Marsicano and Mrs F. S. Budd, both past leaders of the circle, the '• present leader, Mrs B. Mcllutchon, and Mrs . Whetstone, all helped to make. the evening, whichi celebrated tlie fourth year of tbe circle, a very jolly one. Supper was enjoyed before the meeting was brouglit to a close.
