'WAIPUKURAU, Last Night. With 400 votes to their credit, Waipukurau has replaced Porangahau for the leading position in the order of voting in the Central Hawke's Bay Rugby Sub-Union's queen carnival. The order of voting in other centres to date is Porangahau 5760, Takapau 5220, Otane-Qm akere-T e Aute '3970, Ongaonga- Waipawa 3294, Tikokino- Waipawa 600. With each vot-e valued at 3d, the total amount collected by the subu«ioa to date is £315 11,/-.
