A Waipukurau Evening

WAIPUKURAU, Last Night. A most successful euchre party ajid dance held under the auspices of the Home and School League was held at the Waipukurau District High School on Friday evening. Although there were not so many in the dance room as on previous occasions, the card room was well patronised, the winners being Mesdames T. Hutchinson and Burfield and Messrs. F. A. Burfield and M. Robinson. The guessing competition was won b,y Mrs. M, Ryan, Mr. Chote being sqpond. Music for dancing was piayed by Mrs. Lovell and members of tho Waipukurau Municipal Band. A much-appreciated supper was served by members of the Home and School League committee.
