Tikokino Meeting
The Tikokino Women 's Institue held their usual monthly meeting in the Memorial Hall, • Mrs. Petrowski presiding over a fair attendance, ■ Matters concerning a eewing and fancy stall for sehool children at the eoming spring sho^ were fully discussed. Miss Wilson gave a nxost interesting travel talk on a "Trip to Italy, ' > This was greatly enjoyed by the members and a hearty yote of thanks was accorded the epeaker. During the afternoon tea interlude Mrs. C. Lowrey/ a recent bride, was presented with a very dainty vase as a gift from members of the Institufce. Mrs. Lqwrey suitably replied, Miss Wilson and Mrs. W. Oliver very kindly donated prizes for the girlssovjdag class, and their gifts were greatly appreciated. Tho winners in the various competitions were: — Best results from one skein of wool, Mrs. Large 1, Mrs. Williams 2, Mrs. Rumbal 3. Cheese passovers, Mrs. Large 1. Best bloom, Mrs. Oliver 1, Mrs. Simmons 2, Mrs. Rumbal ?• The singing of theNational Anthem conclude'd a very plcasant afternoon.
