Hastings Retain the Keats Cup -

MASTERTON, July 17. On a -heavy course and in sqiKjlly weather tho Hastings harriers retained the Keats Cup in the inter-club contest with Masterton this afternoon by 32 points to 46, The indiyidual 'honouys went to H. E. Taylor (Hastings) who won after a thrilling finish with G. Gregory (Masterton). The details are as follow: — Hastings. — H. E. Taylor (36.20) 1, J. Dyer (38.57) 3, A. Taylor (39.5) 4, A. Robertson (39.25) 7, P. Barrer (40.3) 8, C. Wright (40.9) 9. Total 32. Masterton. — G. Gregory (36.21) 2, R. Warhanx (39.5) '5, R. Shaw (39.21) 6, C. K. Long (40.25) 10, J. Kennedy (40.47) 11, J. Lochore (41.54) 12. Total 4?. Run in conjunction with the contest, R. Robertson won the Hastings Club's ■ sealed handicap.
