Organising Water side Workers NEW YOKK, July 12. Harry Bridges on arrival to-day to lake charge of the maritime organisation, said if Ryan did not co-operate the Committee for Industrial Organisation would proceed on its own way. ^ He . denied that he personally was a Oomruunist, although he admitted there wero manv Communists within the Pacific Maritime Union. They were militant and sincere. The Pacific Maritime Union was prepared to lead the way to the Committee for Industrial Organisation without the eastern union if necessary. Mr. Ryan, interviewed, said: "I am not interested in any statement by that Australian Communist (Bridges). He is like the prickly heat to me. We are not taking ultimatums from anybody."
