SALE OF MAREWA SECTIONS
Spirited Bidding in Napier A sale of sections on the Marewa bloek was held in Napier yesterday by McGlaslian's, Ltd., Bidding was spirited for most • of the sections offered. The easy terms on which the sections can be obtained, their nandy position and sunny outlook liave all combined to attract interest to this rapidly-ex-pandmg residential area. As it has been defmitely decided to proceed with the work of extending Kennedy road in thq direction of Greenmeadows and Taradale this part of the suburbs is bound to become still more popular for residential purposes. As many as eleven bids were aetually reeorded by the auctioneer in the case of ono section, while in the case of other sites the competition was scarcely iess animated. The following sections at Marewa were disposed of: Section 51, Ird. 5.4pchs., Mr. L. Beamish, £9 per annum. Hection 32, 3G.4p?hs., Mr. L. G. Beamish, £7 14/- per annum. Section 67, 30.4pehs., Mr. H. Nuttall, £9 10/- per annum. Section 68, lrd. 5.4pch,s., llr. W. D. Fitzgerald, £12 10/- per annum. Section 91, 34pehs., Mr. A. H. Rushbrook, £8 per annum. Section 92, 36.1pchs., Mr. P. M. Bartlett, £7 10/- per annum. Section 102, 3&6pchs., Mr. L. G. Beamish, £7 10/- per annum, Section 103, 34.9pchs., Messrs. Morse and Atherford, £7 4/- per annum. , Seetion 180, lrd. 5.4 pchs., Mr, W. G. Paton £7 5/- per annum. Options were obtained ovet three other Marewa sections. in addition, oue section in McGrath street, JS'apier, was disposed of.
