Russian Airmen Report "All's Well" GOOD PROGRESS MADE

(Received .14, 11.0 a.m.) MOSCOW, July 13. The Soviet fliers, Michael Gromov, Major A. Yujoshev, and S. Daniline, who are flying from Russia to the United States via the Arctic Circle, sent a radio message about 8 p.m., JNew Zealand time, Tuesday, that all was well and that they were approaching the fringe of the Arctic Circle, following the fourteenth meridian and were making faster time than on the previous fligbt. They radioed the Canadian Signal Corps four hours later that they were over Fort Norman when they asked for weather reports and indicated1 that tkere was ample petrol supply.
