FOREIGNERS TO LEAVE PEKING
(Beceived 14, 1.30 p.m.) SHANGHAI, July 13. The Chinese Foreign Office has requested foreign consnlates to instruct their nationals +o evacuate Peking and is offeripg aeroplanes to assist in their removal. The 160th Division of the Chinese Army has been ordered to entrain for the north. The Japanese are rcportcd to have retreated to Fengtai after a two-hours' bsttle. Fighting is progeedjng in the
VVang Ping Sein area. The Japanese have 32 planets on the Tientsin front. The Governor-Genera1 of Formosa has received warning to place the island on a war footing. Korea is already in this position and similar orders httve been sent to the Japanese naval stations.
