British Empire MedaJ Presented (Received 13, 8.45 a.m.) LONDON, July 12. • Mr Tom Clarke driver of the special train in which their Majesties and the Prineesscs returned to London from Seotland, was summoned to the Koyal coach on arrival at Euston Sta. tion, and he received their Majesties' thanks for a comfortable journey. The Kiug presented him with the British Empiro eMdal, and awarded Mr Clarke oCronation honours for meritorious serviee in record-maldng drives. hTe King asekd Mr Clarke whether re-cord-breaking taxecl his nervcs, and Mr Clarke replicd that he was so fully oc. cupied he Avas unable to think about nerves.
