Saies in Ormondville District

ORMONDVILLE, Last Night. Two properties have changed hands recently, Mr. M. Hovat having sold his Papatu farm to his brother-in-law, Mr. Bone, thus bringing a meinber of the old Maycock family back to his early home. The other sale, that of Mr. L. B. Lorrigan to Mr. B. Goodeve, of Waipukurau, robs the district of a highly respected inhabitant. Mr. Lorrigan has Jived on his farm for 49 years, apd is now seelcing an easier life than dairying in a warmer Iocality. He is as yet undecided as to his future home, but it will probably be in or near his birthplace, Greenmeadows. During his timo in Ormondville he has been active in the business life of the district, being a director of the^ Norsewood Co-operative Dairy Assoeiation, and chairman of that body for somo years. With Mrs. Lorrigan, ho hopes to visit his old neighbours and friends in the future, and will carry away pleasant memories of his old home. He will be greatly missed
