Annuai Meeting of Hatuma Branch

UAJ.UMA, Last Night. Ihe annuai meeting of tho Hatuma branch of the New Zealand National Party took place in the Parisb Hall. lhere was a fair atteudance. The fol.Wing officers were elected : — Chairman, Mr* H. P. Hole; secretary, Mr R. A. Edgecombe; com.niittee, Miss E. A. Hobson, Messrs C. It. Edgecombe, G. F. Kennedy, F. E. McRoberts, John Hobson, H. T. Wright, J. A, Grant and R. N. Thomsen. Tlie representatives on the electorate eommittee were elected as follows : — Miss E. A. Hobson, Messrs H. P. Hole, John Hobson, and lt. A. Edgecombe. Tlie chairman of the Waipawa electorate eommittee addressed the meeting on tlie "Present position of the National Party." The address gave members an insight into the workings of the party and a fresh interest in its activities. The speaker was accorded a hearty vote" of thank's, on tlie motion of Mr H. T. McRoberts.
