Charge oi Fishing Prohibited Waters

AUCKLAND, Last Night. Eight business and professional men and farmers were charged on summons in the Magistrate's Court tliis morning with fishing in the prohibited waters of Lake Rotoaira, near Rotorua. Mr McCarthy, of the Crown Solicitor's Office, Auckland, said the matter involved was a question of law and asked for a week's adjournment. Those charged were: Harold E. Barrowclough, solicitor; William W. Dove, merchant ; William H. Cocker, solicitor; John R. Grey, solicitor; Ernest A. Harding, farmer; John R. Morris, headmaster; Cecil A. Whitney, merchant ; and Bruce McLeod, farmer. The hearing was adjourned.
