Three Months' Training in Australia

WELLINGTON, Last Night. The names of the three non-commis-sioued officers of the regular forces seleeted to undergo a three months' cavalry course at Randwick, Sydney, were annouuced this evening by the Minister of Defence, Hon. F* Jones. They are as follows : — Sergeant C. F. Rudd, R.N.Z.A., Christchurch. Sergeant W. E. Bradley, R.N.Z.A., Auckland, at present undergoing a course of instructioD at Trentham Military Camp. Bombardier G. H. Martin, R.N.Z.A., ■Wellington.
Ihey are to leave Wellington for 'Syduev bv the Wanganella next Thursday. As auuounced 6y Mr Joues in a statemeut issued on Thursday this week, these uou-commissioned officers wiil be posted as instruetors with mounted rille regiuients on their returu • to New Zealand. The course commences on July 15. It was pointed out by Mr Jones that this coqrse wqs particularly opportuue as there were no means of training mounted instruetors with the limited facilities in ' New Zealand.
